Beware of Questionable Alumni E-mail/Website

Some Temple alums have received an email that appears to be trying to trick people into paying money to join a website with no real connection to Temple alumni. We don't know of any Temple connection to this site; if you receive the email, don't follow the link, and don't submit a payment. If you know of a real Temple connection, let us know. Otherwise, be wary. Temple is not alone. There are many complaints about this site online from alumni from schools across the country.

Here's a sample of the questionable email:

Sent: Wednesday, July 14, 2010 1:26 AM
Subject: Temple Alumni Site
Greetings Alumni,
One more chance before the Temple Alumni site goes to an annual fee. Hurry and become a lifetime member now while it is still a one time $10.00 fee.
