Signs of Summer in Cotton County

We’ve had a lot of irons in the fire and no time to blog. Trying to do better. Thanks to those who have written that they missed us.

Cotton County has turned hot and dry. Combiners are loading up and pulling out. The cows have gathered in the ponds and under the shade trees.

Is said that the wheat crop came up short of bushels and low in quality and market. Graze out used about half of the acreage and appears to have done much better than grain.
Clarence Vache baled his wheat instead of harvesting it for grain or grazing.
